The 2026 season marks the start of a new era for Team Skippy Racing. After more than 8 years campaigning our T500 with the USCRA as a Period 1 (pre-1968) machine, we decided at the end of 2025 to step up to Period 2. Period 2 allows bikes and modifications up to 1972, including disc brakes. Having built up our motor to the point that we’re over 79 horsepower, our TD3 4LS front brake, despite its size and reputation, just doesn’t have the stopping power we need. As we enter 2026 with a Period 2 machine, we have also upgraded our web presence as well with a new website. Never fear! Our old site with all its blog posts and info still exists at teamskippyracing.weebly.com, however going forward, all new posts will live here.
